The XS3 CC CombiChecker is a very compact in-line checkweigher and metal detection combination system incorporating not only all features, options and accessories of the standard XS3 checkweigher, but also including a highly sensitive metal detector.
The combination of these two technologies with a single touchscreen user interface makes this unit optimal for all applications that require an effective brand protection program but where floor space is at a premium.

The XS3 CC checkweigher is suitable for dynamically weighing products up to 6000g  with an accuracy from ± 0,1g and a maximum throughput of 400 ppm.

The checkweighing function is performed using a fully functional and globally proven GARVENS XS3 checkweigher. This ensures highly accurate dynamic weight measurement with an accuracy of ±0.1 g.

While the checkweigher measures product weights quickly and precisely, rejecting "out of tolerance" products, the metal detector reliably detects and rejects products contaminated by metal.
Common contaminants detected range from nuts and bolts, right down to small metal filings, staples, needles or pieces of wire. The rejection of "bad" products is ensured by two rejecting devices – a system which allows separate rejection of metal-contaminated and off-weight products.
